Job description
Overall Responsibility:
Responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring trade contractor construction activities. May involve on site management of one or more construction disciplines (Electrical, Communications, Electronic Safety and Security etc.).
Essential Functions:
- Monitor construction schedules, cost estimates, and monthly construction progress reports.
- Contribute in developing technical solutions to constructability or construction issues.
- Attend periodic progress meetings.
- Prepare daily field reports summarizing progress of construction and measuring payment quantities.
- Prepare test reports, including accident reports, etc.
- Communicate with team members on ongoing construction related issues.
- Compare approved shop drawings with materials being delivered and installed as part of the work.
- Review Contractor proposed modifications with team members.
- Help resolve construction related conflicts.
- Review work is being performed in compliance with the contract documents.
- Issue deficiency reports for any defective work.
- Perform walkthrough inspections and prepare punch list for any remaining work.

Education/Experience Minimum:
- Minimum of eight years construction management and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction.
- Preferred experience: airport terminal buildings, airport terminal facilities and systems at a medium and/or large air carrier airport.
- OSHA 30-hour training
