The Headlines: In the role of
Storeroom Attendant working in Golden, CO, you will be part of the Procurement Team at the Golden Brewery. You will receive, count, inspect and verify incoming materials and operating supplies and use equipment to unload or move heavy materials.
You will maintain storeroom inventories and participate in regular physical cycle counting and keep track of inventory levels. You will use a computer to enter issue tickets from plant personnel and input/record what is received and disbursed to/from the storeroom.
This position reports to Team Leader – Procurement and works closely with procurement, Sr. Storeroom Attendant, and other team members.
The Responsibilities: - Receiving inbound shipments that come through packaging dock and the 4th floor storeroom for all of the major departments in packaging.
- Triaging the inbound orders that are received to the respective point of use and storage locations
- Works with SAP, forklift certification and experience
- Inventory management
The Other Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must have an excellent safety record and be comfortable with the physical requirements of this position (standing, lifting, walking)
- Must be able to use Microsoft office applications and have capability to learn several different computer applications, inventory tracking systems, and Excel
- Able to work in a team environment
- Manufacturing knowledge and willingness to learn and support various storeroom activities
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and escalate appropriately
