Job Opportunity: Procurement Clerk

Evers & Sons Inc. is looking for a highly talented and motivated Procurement Clerk that will be responsible for purchasing activities in accordance with in-house Company and client specifications, including evaluating vendors, sourcing products, and negotiating prices. Monitors all orders until received and verified.

Compensation

$18.00 to $20 per hour

Required Experience

• Must be highly detail-oriented with proven strong time-management and organizational skills
• Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

• Research potential vendors and assist with vendor setup
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
• Proactively negotiate pricing with vendors; maintaining good rapport with current, and establishing new, quality vendors
• Produce purchase orders per Company Guidelines
• Track orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery, and resolve any issues
• Review quality of purchased products
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
• Ensure all purchases are correctly phase-coded within Company accounting software
• Work effectively in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other various software programs to report progress of operations
• Operate a Windows 10 PC, Scanner, Printer, Android/Apple Phone, tablets, and various other office equipment
• Notify supervisor and address potential safety hazards in a timely fashion
• Be professional and courteous in dealings with customers and/or vendors
• Follow all Company policies and procedures and obtain certifications at Company/Client request, including but not limited to BBP, Onsite Orientations, First Aid, CPR, Annual OSHA Training
