Description Product Education Manager - Literacy What We Seek The Product Education Manager-Literacy is responsible for executing internal and external product education efforts with a focus on developing a strong understanding of key product principles and implementation best practices for literacy teaching and learning, K-12. To excel in this role, you will have the ability to develop strong relationships across various internal teams, understand the needs of internal and external stakeholders, meet overlapping timelines, and demonstrate strong organizational skills. This role reports directly to the Director of Product Education.
What You'll Be Responsible For Product Education Knowledge & Relationships - Attaining mastery across all products within your domain and cultivating a profound understanding of the intended applications and use case(s) of product components to safeguard the integrity of implementations through a strong partnership with the Product and Instructional Design teams.
- Creating the content, gathering feedback, and improving our product education programming on an ongoing basis with a dual focus on internal training/support and customer education
- Serving as a main point of contact and key strategic partner for customer or internal team requests related to ensuring and driving successful product adoption and implementations
Internal Field Team Product Education - Developing tools and training resources for ongoing internal training and development across the professional learning teams, ensuring comprehensive readiness of field team members to adeptly support all CL products
- Facilitating frequent product training webinars, interactive sandbox sessions, and other professional learning forums, creating opportunities for field team members to expand their expertise and familiarity with our products in a safe space
- Ensuring the timely communication of product roadmaps, timelines, release notes, and other product updates to field team members ensuring they are equipped with the latest, most relevant information available
Customer-Facing Product Education - Deeply understanding customer implementation initiatives to ensure and drive successful product adoption and implementation
- Developing tools and training resources, in collaboration with the Services Design and Delivery team, that support efficient and effective professional learning efforts and target tangible implementation outcomes
- Designing and facilitating monthly product education webinars and newsletter publications
- Authoring, maintaining, and continuously improving critical product education resources such as the Sample Center and Support Center
- Developing additional high-quality resources that support product implementation and/or product education efforts
Other Fun Work - Developing and using collaborative relationships within and across departments in order to influence product development, contribute to marketing and thought leadership efforts, etc. as a representation of our teachers and leaders
- Growing yourself professionally in the areas of adult learning theory, product education strategy, professional learning design, and leadership, among others
- Performing other duties as assigned or apparent
What Should Be In Your Bookbag - Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field.
- 5+ years of classroom teaching experience
- Experience facilitating and designing professional learning, including experience with backward design, PDSA cycles, PLC facilitation, UBD, Literacy Design Collaborative, knowledge-building curriculum, systematic explicit foundational skills, disciplinary writing instruction, competency-based professional learning, and/ or supporting HQIM implementations in 6-12.
