LaSalle Network is partnered with an award-winning manufacturing company, seeking a Head of Human Resources to join their Fort Dodge, Iowa team. The Head of Human Resources will be partnering with the Plant Manager to oversee all HR matters in their manufacturing center. This person can direct HR initiatives ranging from employee relations to performance management to safety directives. The role offers a clear growth path and competitive pay and benefits!
Head of Human Resources Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing their concerns and questions professionally and empathetically
Foster a positive and productive work environment by promoting communication and collaboration
Maintain thorough knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and best practices
Manage complaint process including peer reviews and performance evaluations
Support and implement safety programs as requested
Head of Human Resources Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
3+ years of experience in human resources experience specific to employee relations, performance management and compliance
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Knowledge of warehouse safety preferred
Knowledge of HR policies and regulations
Demonstrated proficiency in HR software and technology
