Brand New Restaurant: If you are looking for an opportunity to grow, buckle up and let’s chat. We are in expansion mode and opening a brand new Dog Haus Biergarten in January and another one in March. We are looking for a Senior Cook with training and leadership experience to develop into a Kitchen Lead. You would be part of leadership, work with us on opening the restaurant, and be instrumental in building the right kitchen culture and processes.

Compensation:

Hourly + heavily weighted BOH tips. $17 - $19/hour based on experience (raises after certifications) + $3 - $4 PER HOUR in tips on average. Total per hour take home = $20 - $23 PER HOUR.

**If you have strong Kitchen Manager experience and require less development on day 1, we can discuss that pay rate tier as it will differ from our Senior Cook in development track**

Days/Hours Available: Monday - Sunday | 5 days/per week | 40 hours/per week | Overtime pay occasionally. We support work life balance and encourage days off.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and work with a team of kitchen staff
• Ensure food quality and consistency
• Monitor inventory and control costs
• Help maintain kitchen equipment by teaching proper usage and cleaning techniques
• Implement and enforce safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with managers and ownership to optimize operations
• Coach and develop junior staff
• Other duties will be assigned as needed and as the business evolves

What You'll Bring:

• Previous experience as a Senior Cook
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for serving delicious food
• Fluent or proficient in Spanish - not mandatory, but preferred
• Positive attitude and a big smile :)
• A love for coaching and development
• Detail orientation and a belief that systems drive successful restaurants
