Job description

6 & Fix is inviting recent trade school graduates or those with minimal HVAC experience the opportunity to start their HVAC career journey with our 8-week Apprentice Program, an initiative aimed at providing accelerated training in the HVAC industry.

This apprenticeship starts as an 8-week classroom program covering a range of tasks from cleaning and checking components to identifying system deficiencies and effectively communicating with customers. We are making multiple hires for this position and the training program starts on March 11th , if you cannot start on this date, we will keep your information on file for the next apprenticeship program.

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr starting during the in-classroom 8-week training period. Guaranteed pay increase upon successful completion of apprenticeship.

Position Summary: The HVAC Service Tech Apprentice collaborates closely with an experienced HVAC Service Trainer to gain practical skills surpassing those acquired in traditional classroom settings. Embark on an 8-week structured training program to kickstart your HVAC career journey!

• Take pride in your work - quality repairs and cleanliness of the area while on-site
• Maintain a professional appearance

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Acquire EPA Universal Certification within 9 weeks
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
• Stellar mechanical aptitude and a problem-solving mentality
• An awesome attitude and is a great team player!
