Job description

The Athletic Business Manager is responsible for daily management of financial operations in the Athletic Department; assisting with budget and compliance with federal, state, college, and NCAA financial regulations; directly monitoring of corporate sponsor contracts; assisting with daily operation of the Athletic Business Office and coordination of general accounting activities.

Specific Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

1-3 years of experience in management functions or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three plus years of experience with record keeping, bookkeeping, or accounting for a college or university athletic office operations.

Intermediate computer skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Supervisory experience.

Experience in a college or university setting.

Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations for college and/or university business office operations.
