Job description

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Head of Accounting in Ipswich, Massachusetts (MA). Summary: This client is a growing engineering company that has a family-oriented culture with most employees having 10+ years tenure. • Manage the month-end close process
• Prepare audit and tax packages
• Manage the accounts payable team and related functions
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation
• Manage the billing process and service invoicing
• Oversee the collection process
• Oversee and review sales tax filings
• Request insurance certificates and sales tax exemption certificates
• Prepare financial projections
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned.
