As one of DC's premier caterers, Well Dunn Catering is a leader in creating innovative, collaborative, and delicious events in the DMV area - from cocktail receptions to weddings, galas, and much more. We are looking for an experienced Saucier to join our production kitchen in Hyattsville, MD.

Responsibilities: 

• Create a variety of sauces, soups, and stocks in both classical and contemporary culinary genres
• Ensure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with Well Dunn standards. 
• Adhere to daily cleaning and organizational standards in both storage and production areas.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday daytime, some evenings and weekends required during the busy season

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) or more years of experience as a saucier or similar required.
• Associate degree in culinary arts or similar preferred.
• Experience in off-premise catering or high volume production a plus.
• Current ServSafe Certification a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend, lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
