The selected candidate will lead a team sustaining and enhancing several critical enterprise applications supporting Space and Property Management, Asset Management and Transportation Management.
Key technologies include: Java, AWS, MySQL, Linux, Maven, Camunda, SpringBoot, Docker, Angular, Git, GitLab, Atlassian Tool Suite, Oracle, Node.JS, Maven, amd Bizflow.
Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph .
- Assume the role of lead developer within the team, collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates and act as a key point of contact. Additionally, provide leadership in facilitating communication and fostering positive relationships between the development team and stakeholders. Take ownership of technical aspects of the project, including architectural decisions, code reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices. Act as a point of contact for technical discussions and provide leadership in driving the successful delivery of the solution.
- Utilize strong Java development experience, proficiency in a JavaScript framework such as Angular, and familiarity with Docker for containerization and Linux OS development. Additionally, experience with Camunda for workflow creation/deployments and dashboard troubleshooting will benefit the candidate.
- The candidate will support application sustainment and enhancements per requirements, proactively identify and correct potential issues before outages occur, and implement required code enhancements.
- Collaborate with the customer throughout the development process, elicit requirements, troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely delivery of the solution.
- The position will require working in a fast-paced team in an agile environment and a willingness to take on challenges to creatively solve customer requirement problem sets.
Required Education & Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering.
Required Skills
- Experience with Java development.
- Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular.
- Experience developing in the Linux operating system.
- Experience with Docker for containerized application deployment and management.
Desired Skills
- AWS experience.
- Experience in an Agile development environment.
- Experience working with the Atlassian Tool Suite.
- Experience with SpringBoot.
- Experience with GitLab for version control.
