The palliative care social worker is an integral member of the interdisciplinary palliative care team, addressing psychological and social needs to support patients living with serious illness, and their families.  The palliative care social worker plays a critical role in facilitating communication with patients and their families.

1-2 years health care experience

palliative and or hospice experience preferred

Requires a Master Degree in Social Work (MSW)

Current NJ SW License – (NEW JERSEY SOCIAL WORKER), LCSW Preferred
