OVERVIEW:
Our New Home Sales Specialists work from one of our many model centers throughout Polk County to assist buyers in selecting and building a new home. When working for Southern Homes as a New Home Sales Specialist, you receive training to ensure you will be well-versed in the loan programs available to buyers, as well as different government assistance loan programs that can help turn their dreams into reality. Strong people skills, ability to work independently, and time management skills are required. We welcome all levels of sales experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make initial contact with prospects through referrals, interested prospects that walk-in, or calls from ads. Qualify prospects’ interest and ability to purchase home.
- Obtain Real Estate License within 6 months of employment.
- Conduct sales presentations for prospective customers. Follow up with thank you cards, phone calls, e-mails, and letters
- Assist with financing, if necessary. Prepare purchase agreements. Track loan process with lenders and assist with trouble-shooting problems, if applicable.
- Manage model centers: keep models clean and organized, complete “Traffic Reports” of incoming prospects, stay current on competition prices, floor plans, etc.
