Job description
TCI has an immediate need for a Travel IT Field Technician in Allentown, Harrisburg, Scranton and Central PA regions . This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity.

SUMMARY
The Travel IT Field Technician will provide IT support to multiple offices/facilities throughout the covered area.
- Allentown Region Two City Center, Walbert, Bethlehem, Buxmont.
- Harrisburg Region Colcalico, Lancaster, Quarryville, Elizabethville, Harrisburg, Harrisburg Office, Harrisburg Cumberland, Newport, West Shore.
- Scranton Region Carbondale, Hamilin, Hazelton, Pocono, Scranton, System Facilities Center, Wilkes Barre, Whitehaven.
- Central Region Bloomsburg, Frackville, Lockhaven, Sunbury, Panter Valley, Orwigsburg.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoots and resolves simple Desktop/Laptop problems.
- Installs, maintenance and acquisition of Desktops, Laptops, Software, and Peripherals located throughout the organization.
- Performs Client LAN/hard disk cleanups; assists with end user questions and problems.
- Participates in performance monitoring and tuning of PC Systems.
- Maintains an adequate spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems, and component parts used in repair work.
- Effectively communicates with clients, peers and supervision by blending appropriate levels of technical and business detail to ensure issues are thoroughly understood by his/her audience. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, peers, and management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of practical experience in an Information Technology deskside support position.
- 4+ years of experience with user accounts in Active Directory including Outlook e-mail, network resources, Active Directory Groups and access to network shared folders.
- Solid working knowledge and troubleshooting experience with printers, PC proficiency, Microsoft 365, Azure, iOS, mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.), and wireless access.
- Basic understanding on how to troubleshoot Androids, iOS, tablets, laptops, thin clients, and Chromebooks.
- Experience using incident tracking tools (like ServiceNow or Cherwell).
- Reliable transportation is required for daily travel to various locations/facilities. Mileage reimbursement will be made at normal federal rate. Overnight travel (if required), is reimbursed.
