Job Title: Senior Mortgage Clerk

Summary:
As a Senior Mortgage Clerk, you'll play a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring seamless processing of mortgage-related tasks while upholding the highest standards of customer service and compliance. From handling appraisal payments to providing essential support services, you'll be a key contributor to our team's success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Procure information from insurance companies via telephone.
- Process tasks in LoanServ and update insurance information accordingly.
- Issue payments to insurance companies and manage correspondence in the Electronic Customer File.
- Prepare and document system notes in Sagent for efficient record-keeping.
- Conduct thorough research on accounts and provide timely resolution.
- Review and process Debt Settlement packets and handle related applications.
- Process charge-offs, debt cancellations, and skip trace information accurately.
- Index signed agreements and provide support for SFH-Guaranteed Loan Program.
- Ensure compliance with SFG-GLP regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Perform detailed account research and offer valuable analysis and advice.
- Provide exceptional customer service support to lenders/servicers via email and phone.
- Assist with loss claim related projects and tasks for SFH-GLP and SFH Claims Branch.
- Perform various administrative duties including data entry, mail handling, and phone communication.

Compliance:

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses/Registration:
- Must be able to pass a customer background check.
- Homeland Security Investigation requires U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996 transaction processing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
