Long Description
The Manager, Talent & Performance Management will play an integral role in the creation and execution of the Southwire end-to-end talent processes. This role will help build integrated talent processes and solutions to help assess, identify, develop, and grow our talent to deliver value and organizational growth. This role is accountable for leading and supporting talent initiatives, providing meaningful insight and analysis, and for the day-to-day execution of the company’s talent and performance management programs. This role will manage activities related to performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, career pathing, and development planning.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and lead a team of talent management professionals.
• Lead the design and operational execution of various enterprise-wide talent management processes.
• Manage and execute the annual performance review process, including year-end performance reviews, talent reviews, and calibrations.
• Design and facilitate performance management training programs that enable a culture of performance excellence (e.g., SMART goal setting, giving effective feedback, evaluation, and calibration training for leaders)
• Design, develop, and implement the talent review process to identify high-potential talent, ensure a strong leadership bench, and support succession planning efforts.
• Build and refine talent programs and processes with a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lens to improve the representation of diverse talent in the leadership bench.
• Understand desired talent/performance process outcomes and lead the implementation of technology enhancements to enable better our talent processes and the technology required to make these outcomes a reality.
• Develop and maintain key analytics to track the effectiveness of talent/performance processes in our HRIS platform.
• Establish credibility and relationships among multiple levels of professionals, including the executive levels of P&C Partners, and across functional groups.
• Be a thought partner and collaborate with various stakeholders on Talent, Learning, & Culture projects/programs, providing input and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Partner with the Talent Development leadership team in administrative responsibilities, including budget planning and tracking, meeting facilitation, program and project management, communications, and other assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required, Human Resources, Business Management, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years related experience, Human Resources, I/O psychology.
• Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, APTD, CPTD, SHRM-CP
• Establish credibility and relationships among multiple levels of professionals, including the executive levels of P&C Partners, and across functional groups.
