Job description

We are a well-established law firm that specializes in various areas of law such as Real Estate, Land Use/Zoning, Litigation, Trust/Estates, Litigation, etc. Due to growth and demand, we are looking to add an experienced Land Use & Zoning Attorney to our expanding team. 

Who You Are:

• Juris Doctor Degree & Licensed to Practice in NY
• Experience in Land Use, Zoning, and Commercial Real Estate
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Familiarity with local government processes and procedures

What You Will Be Doing? 

• Advise clients on land use & zoning issues and other related matters
• Negotiate and prepare land use & zoning agreements
• Conduct research and analysis on land use & zoning matters
• Represent clients in land use & zoning hearings and appeals
• Attend meetings with local government officials and other stakeholders
• Review and analyze land use & zoning ordinances and other local regulations
• Provide legal advice on land use & zoning issues
• Prepare and file applications for zoning relief
