JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in the financial services industry, is seeking an Associate Director for their Fixed Income Clearance and Settlement Operations Team. As a key member, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day processing activities, identifying procedural gaps, and enhancing the control environment to ensure operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead day-to-day processing activities of government and mortgage-backed operations team, including exception resolution, adherence to controls, and risk management.
• Collaborate with team leads to strengthen the control environment and improve departmental performance.
• Interact with partners and clients to resolve processing issues and lead department projects and initiatives.
• Provide direction and guidance to ensure clear communication and foster talent development within the team.
• Enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risk by implementing operational improvements and monitoring controls.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience in fixed income products, allocations, and settlements, with a strong preference for mortgage-backed experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information effectively.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and adapt to changing business needs.
