Accounting Analyst, Structured Finance 

DIRECT HIRE - Hybrid with core onsite in Chesterfield, Missouri

LOCAL Candidates ONLY

Performs month-end financial reporting functions for the business unit, area or function, which may include any or all of the following:

• preparation of general ledger uploads; reconciling various ledger accounts
• updating, reconciling and recording financial results
• analysis, compiling and reporting of data based on a US GAAP and Statutory basis
• preparation of bank reconciliations
• reconciliation of various accounts
• May review and/or verify journal entries, account balances, and accounting classifications
• Works with other functional and corporate areas in to achieve accuracy, efficiency, and effective accounting practices and procedures and responds to requests from other functional areas on various inquiries.
• Assists with report development and/or updates; addresses financial reporting related questions raised by business unit, area, or function.
• Shares technical expertise with others; recommends process improvements, provides functional advice and/or training as needed.
• Serves as liaison to other business units, areas and functions as needed.
  

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent related work experience
• 3+ years accounting or auditing experience

• Perform accounting analysis and provide written explanations of actual results to plan
• Advanced knowledge of accounting/finance theory, application, financial reporting and Statutory and GAAP accounting.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions.
• Ability to be flexible when needed, take initiative, and demonstrate accountability.
