Today, our portfolio features some of North America’s most revered wineries, including Decoy, Paraduxx, Goldeneye, Migration, Canvasback, Calera, Kosta Browne, Greenwing and Postmark.
The Senior FP&A Analyst is a vital member of the finance team that provides management with reporting, modeling, and ad hoc analyses to facilitate business planning and decision-making.
What we will ask you to do:
• Support and administrate planning application for FP&A function.
• Conduct data analysis, mining, and management across multiple systems and structures.
• Work closely with IT to ensure data normalization and accuracy.
• Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to help the management team monitor business results.
• Utilize expertise with reporting tools or PowerPoint to create stories around business analysis/issues.
• Analyze processes assisting business partners with strategic analysis strategies to improve efficiency.
• Participate heavily in the budgeting and forecasting processes, including: sales forecasting, production forecasting, operating expense forecasting, capital expenditure forecasting, and costing.
• Assist in evaluation of new business opportunities.
• Assist accounting team with external audit.
What you will need:
• Passion for continuous, self-driven learning and a can-do attitude.
• Bachelor's Degree with significant coursework or work experience in Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar areas of study.
• Prior data analysis-related experience with a quantitative focus a plus.
• Highly advanced Excel skills required.
• Aptitude for interactive business models.
• Ability to work with complex data sets.
• Demonstrated quantitative skills (financial analysis, forecasting, modeling).
• Aptitude for creative problem-solving, often in situations that are ambiguous.
• Strong communication skills: written and oral. Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Experience with Anaplan, SQL, Microsoft NAV (or similar ERP systems), Power BI a plus.
