Michael Wolf Vineyard Services is a well-established vineyard management company in the Napa Valley that focuses on the production of ultra-premium grapes destined for premium wines. The company has a long history of integrity and is considered an industry leader in wine grape production. We are a dynamic company that seeks out and adopts the most sustainable and progressive farming strategies to produce the highest quality fruit. From Coombsville to Calistoga, we farm 600+ acres on over 40 sites in 11 different AVA's around the Napa Valley.
We are seeking a motivated individual that is hardworking and driven. Someone who has an affinity for learning. You will be working with all members of our viticulture team assisting with operations management, scouting and carrying out work orders.
Core Responsibilities:
-Maintaining the in-house Ranch Information Database
-Assisting in the migration of the company to the AgCode management software
-Work Order creation
-Vineyard Mapping
-Maintaining inventory logs of pesticides and fertilizers.
Supporting Responsibilities:
-Field work such as Pest Scouting, Phenology Tracking and Sampling.
-Attend Team Meetings, Training Sessions, and Educational Meetings
Requirements:
-Highly motivated and organized with a strong interest in learning
-Able to work autonomously with adequate instruction
-Effective communication skills in English / Spanish preferred
-Working knowledge of AgCode and GIS software preferred
-Working knowledge of effective pest management program desired
-Able to lift 50 lbs
-Able to work outside on uneven terrain in various weather conditions
-Willing to work long hours and weekends during key periods
-Possess a valid CA Driver License
Schedule:
-Early morning weekdays and potentially some weekends during the growing season.
Work Environment:
-Outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions, such as cold, fog, rain, heat, dust, wind, sun, etc.
