Job description

We are currently seeking a Cable TV, Internet, and Phone Installer Tech to join our team. This role involves a balance of office and field work, and offers opportunities for travel and advancement. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Management on the development of in-house crews, business practices, and field procedures
- Direct field labor force daily to ensure quality, timely, and safe completion of work
- Lead multiple crews and take responsibility for successful field operations
- Operate directional drilling equipment according to blueprints and plans
- Oversee job site set up and tear down
- Communicate with MissDigg and create Asbuilds
- Complete and submit accurate paperwork
- Access construction points as required
- Read and interpret engineering plans
- Maintain detailed work activity records
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations
Qualifications
- Ability to operate construction equipment and machinery
- At least 1 year of experience operating a directional drill
- Knowledge of utility depths and placements; general knowledge of construction practices
- Ability to read blueprints/underground utility plans and interpret work assignments
- Experience with Ditch Witch Sub-Site Tracker, Vermeer F2 or equal trackers
- Willingness to work nights and weekends, if necessary
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Physical ability to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb and lift throughout the work shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Authorization to work in the United States
