Job description
The Website Strategist is responsible for planning, developing and deploying content strategy and assets for our dynamic brand site, UWM.com .
In this role, you’ll identify gaps and opportunities to better meet client needs and drive business value. You’ll develop project briefs, execute content plans and bring new content initiatives to life. You’ll own and implement editorial calendars, manage content inventories and production schedules and collaborate with others to ensure our site stays accurate, timely and relevant.

Developing and deploying site updates that maximize the ability of UWM.com to increase engagement and drive conversion activity
Regularly evaluating client needs and expectations, competitor sites, site performance, content structure and usage, to provide actionable insights and identify new opportunities
Providing strategic recommendations for applying new and enhanced product and service offerings to our content ecosystem
Initiating and managing the brand site content lifecycle, including the website editorial calendar, production schedules and content inventories
Auditing site content for clarity, search engine friendliness, relevance and accuracy
Crafting creative briefs and collaborating with cross-functional teams — including digital, creative, sales, and technology — to bring website updates and enhancements to life
Ensuring site is compliant and follows industry best practices
Acting as brand website subject matter expert (SME) on site capabilities, content and priorities
Must Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or greater
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on brand, website or content strategy
Strong understanding of B2B customer journeys and content’s role in driving audiences through the marketing funnel
Ability to interpret and translate data sets (i.e., audience analytics or website performance) into actionable content strategies and tactics
Ability to write compelling creative briefs and develop content
Excellent project management, teamwork and communication skills
Curious, positive, collaborative and solution-focused
Results-driven with a test-and-learn mindset — we are big on continuous optimization and there’s always room for improvement!
Hands-on experience in publishing tools, CMS systems and/or web development or deployment
Mortgage or financial services experience not necessary, but a plus
