Have you ever wanted to be part of a team who is building industry changing technology?
Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

The Project Kuiper team is looking for a Technical Program Manager with experience in satellite hardware. The role will interface with cross-functional engineering, program/product management and commodity sourcing teams to develop and manage the Hardware supply chain for Kuiper production system.

The Hardware Sourcing TPM will help define and develop the interfaces, manage requirements, and organize technical efforts for the constellation development. Tackle challenging, novel situations every day and given the size of this initiative, you’ll have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams across Amazon. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving problems that haven’t been solved at scale before!

We’ll need to tackle problems that span a variety of domains: hardware, and distributed systems as well as industrial automation. Along the way, we guarantee that you’ll learn a ton, have fun and make a positive impact on millions of people.

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
