Job Description



The Program Director is responsible for providing leadership and management of program services. The Program Director focuses on achieving valued outcomes for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and works collaboratively with others in the organization to provide high quality services.

The Program Director is a role model for Dungarvin employees, by virtue of the way they work with individuals with disabilities and their support teams. Program Directors should also model appropriate behavior for other team members by proactively identifying issues and constructively working to solve problems. 

Typically, responsible for case load of approximately 10-20 residential consumers and 2-10 program sites. Will supervise 10-30 full-time direct support professionals in traditional services setting. Number of residents, programs residents and direct reports will vary for High Acuity service settings.

Work Environment and Office Hours

Typical office hours Monday through Friday full-time and available on-call throughout the week with weekends off. This position is in-office providing site supervision for direct care staff.

Position begins at $52,000 annually with regularly scheduled increases.

This position is eligible for a Retention/Sign-On Bonus to total $2,000. Eligible to employees whose start date is between 02/27/2024 and 04/15/2024. Ask the Talent Acquisition Specialist for additional details.
