Position Summary
Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Senior Quality Specialist will assist in managing the day-to-day activities relative to the Quality Systems governing all brands in the EPC umbrella. The incumbent will assist in ensuring compliance to all applicable regulations, help maintain operations in an inspection-ready fashion, foster a mindset of continuous quality improvement, optimize quality systems, and be a voice in sustaining a culture of quality.

This position will have daily on-site presence at our Coppell, TX facility with flexibility to work from home one day per week

Essential Functions

• Lead day-to-day operations, including but not limited to inspection and release of finished goods, temperature monitoring, mock recall, stability, training, calibration, document control, supplier qualification, consumer complaints, returns, specification creation, non-conformances, deviations, internal audits/self-inspections, corrective actions, etc.
• Ensure that documented evidence of control is in place for products manufactured and distributed, meeting all relevant quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains partnerships and a high level of customer service with both internal and external customers, including supplier management.
• Anticipate potential problems and put proactive measures in place to prevent them.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Other duties, assignments and special projects as assigned.

Experience/Education Required

• Minimum B.S. or B.A. – Science or Engineering Degree preferred; Equivalent relevant experience acceptable in lieu of a degree
• 3+ years of Quality experience in a FDA regulated setting
• Knowledge of CFR 210/211 and adverse event reporting requirements is preferred
• Experience with cosmetic/OTC manufacturing, and quality expectations is desired

Skills and Abilities Required

• Strong verbal / written communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Ability to interface with internal and external customers at all levels. Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information verbally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization skills and problem-solving skills to successfully handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to think and act independently and make sound decisions.
• The position may also require travel to other company locations and to external suppliers

The salary range for this position is $52,000 - $78,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
