Job description

The Systems Developer/Administrator is responsible for installation, maintenance, support and monitoring of enterprise applications used throughout the College. Specifically, the position partners with team members to manage: security and access to the  ERP system, applications used for  IAM (Identity & Access Management), departmental reporting support, and support of iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) integrations.

• Provide support and maintenance of enterprise applications including implementation, upgrades, and patching. | 35%
• Work with Technical Lead for Enterprise Applications to handle access management for the  ERP system, and other security-related duties | 20%
• Support and develop integration between the  ERP System and other applications such as  CRM systems, HR Systems, and other third party applications. | 20%
• Partner with fellow team members and contracted  DBA support to perform system upgrades, patching and address security concerns | 10%
• Contribute to development and success of Enterprise Systems and IS division by sharing information, teamwork and performing related duties as assigned. | 10%
• Develop and maintain technical proficiency by learning and using new software, and tools. Attend training sessions, seminars, and conferences. | 5%

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in information systems, computer science, or closely related IT field OR or at least five years of progressive responsibility managing systems such as described.

Two years’ experience with enterprise-wide software applications development and maintenance, preferably in higher education.

Experience implementing and improving systems, making sure established protocols and procedures are followed.

Documentation expertise including documenting systems administration practices and processes (testing, upgrades/modifications, issue/problem resolution).

Excellent organization skills and ability to set priorities and keep to deadlines.

Ability to work independently on multiple assignments and to work collaboratively within a team.

Thorough understanding of how technology enables a college’s mission.
