Results Partners (RP) is a vineyard management company serving vineyards in both the Willamette Valley and Columbia Valley. We are seeking a viticulturist to join our team. This position would be based at our Willamette Valley location, where we manage vineyards under a variety of farming practices (LIVE, Organic, Biodynamic and conventional).
This position is a mid-level management position, responsible for overseeing the viticultural tasks and data collection in a series of subregions managed by RP. It would also involve supervision and task management of team members working in these subregions. This position also offers the opportunity to collect data, write reports, and work with Vineyard Managers to create vineyard action items.
This position is ideal for the candidate with both previous viticultural and personnel management experience. This individual should have a high level of organizational and task management, capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously and helping team members determine priorities in a fast-paced environment. One should enjoy working outside, data collection, and have an eye for detail. We encourage innovative thinking and creative problem solving.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Task management for a series of various viticultural tasks year-round
o Map data
o Pruning weights
o Crop estimates
o Tissue sampling and nutrient analysis
o Phenology date collection
o Replant counts in development blocks
o Soil sampling
o Virus sampling
o Pest and disease scouting
o Safety and compliance regulations
•  Supervision and management of team members working within the subregion
•  Work with operations team to assist in decision making processes
o Communicate regularly with vineyard managers within the managed subregions
o Pesticide work order distribution and collection
o Coordination of biodynamic applications
o Maintenance of records of all vineyard inputs
•  Communication with internal team and clients on relevant viticultural information
Required skills and qualifications:
•  Degree in Viticulture or related field plus 3+ year’s vineyard experience
•  Strong organizational and communication skills
•  Spanish speaking skills a plus
•  Proficiency in Office 365 including Excel, Power Point and Word
•  Dependable in performance and attendance
•  Ability to work independently
•  Must be able to work long days outside in variable weather conditions
•  Must have a good driving record
•  Must work long hours as needed (includes 6 days a week during the busy season)
•  Ability to lift 40 pounds
