The Apple Service Engineering team is searching for a Privacy Compliance Engineer with solid understanding on privacy regulations and standard, technical curiosity and strong understanding of project and product management cycles. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Collaborate with legal and privacy teams across Apple Participate in the development of new Apple policies and implement relevant processes and procedures Assess ASE infrastructure and applications against new privacy laws, regulations and policies. Identify gaps and develop remediation plan to follow privacy laws, regulations and policies. Translate Legal requirements into implementation requirements and collaborate with engineering teams around the implementation Supervise and build continuous compliance processes Answer regulatory inquiries in collaboration with legal and engineering teams Description Description - 5 years of experience in privacy compliance and/or privacy engineering role - Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures - Experience conducting compliance assessments, audits, and risk assessments - Excellent understanding of privacy laws, regulations and standards such as GDPR, CCPA, DMA, DSA, HIPAA - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization - Strong interpersonal leadership skills - Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication and reporting skills Education & Experience Education & Experience - BA or BS degree is required - A computer science or engineering degree is helpful, but not required Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Apple’s most important resource, our soul, is our people. Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
