Location: This position can be filled from any Reliabank branch location. 

POSITION SUMMARY: The loan operations department supports the lending function at Reliabank. A

loan operations specialist performs mainly post-closing duties for all commercial, agricultural, consumer, and mortgage loans. It plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely boarding of new and renewed loans into our systems. Your primary responsibility will be to verify the completeness of loan documents and input them accurately into Precision. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines are essential for success in this role.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Board all new and renewed commercial, agricultural, consumer and mortgage loans
• Complete loan maintenance request in Director
• Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Coordinate with loan officers and other relevant stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or missing information.
• Review various daily, weekly and monthly reports and make any required adjustments
• Complete post booking review (check-back) for all loan types
• Create and distribute loan operations department reports
• Balance escrow checking account monthly

SECONDARY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in loan boarding procedures.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry best practices related to loan boarding and documentation.
• Responsible for self-development within the job scope (ie. Training opportunities and learning)
• Assist in the development of future training materials for disbursement to new employees
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Preferred 4 year Bachelor’s degree or 2 year Associates Degree
• 2-3 years related retail banking experience and/or training.
• Prior loan operations experience
• Experience with bank data processing systems (FISERV Precision and Director platforms a plus)

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Excellent collaboration skills; ability to communicate effectively with all team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while delivering highest levels of customer service
• Strong understanding of loan process for due diligence requirements
• Strong organization skills
• Proficient in WORD and EXCEL
• Dependable
