Description
As a Reliability Engineer, you will identify high risk failure modes early in the design life cycle, and collaborate with design engineering teams to reduce the risk. You will develop new tests based on the physics of failure and expected user behaviors, and deliver test equipment and specifications that are critical to validate the product reliability, and work with vendors to meet reliability requirements. Finally, you will support failure analysis, providing direction based on your evaluation of the test data, and influencing design.
Education & Experience
- M.S. with 3+ years of industry experience, or Ph.D. (Engineering degree in Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent field desired)

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500.00 and $243,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
