Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer who will be acting as an Architect (Evaluate platforms, services, algorithms, data flow, data structures, languages, and compliance constraints) and prototype viable alternatives, in part or in whole, for an existing mature foundational suite of big data analytics with graph components.
Requirements
Security Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Minimum Qualifications:
- Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Required Skills:
- Experience with big data analytic platforms and solutions, graphs / graph theory, algorithm development, complexity analysis, data analytic optimization (memory, storage, compute - performance, time - performance)
- Knowledge of event-driven systems, streaming systems, serverless architectures, parallel-processing, IC compliance constraints
- Willingness to learn and promote adoption of different programming languages that are best suited to architecture designs and platform requirements such as Rust, Golang, C++, Java 11+, Python

Benefits
- Annual Salary: $125,000 - $250,000 (Depends on the years of experience)
