Our focus is on creating maximum competitive advantage and outstanding patient and customer service by enabling full supply- chain integration. To do so we have initiated a transformative Digital Strategy programme within our broader Operations 2030 strategy to fully continuously improve our speed and agility in delivering life-changing medicines to patients, drive new levels of productivity for our business and deliver exponential value.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for someone with good supply chain knowledge, combined with excellent digital programme management to drive transformative change across the organization.
Description:
The worker will be expected to work in the office a minimum of 60% - most likely 3 days in the office, 2 at home per week.
This role will be responsible for coordination and delivery of a programme of works that will enable our ambition to create an integrated, global AI-powered supply network capable of proactively sensing emerging risks and opportunities, impact assessing them and autonomously responding. In the early phases of the programme, you will be responsible for:
Formation and mobilization of the programme team
Partnering with Finance to shape detailed business case/s and ongoing funding requirements for the entirety of the programme.
Development of an integrated programme plan and roadmap, outlining how major milestones in this initiative align with other large transformational programmes.
Set up and alignment of governance of the programme with other existing digital governance forums.
Identifying and sequencing use cases to leverage interdependencies and deliver maximum value through the life of the programme.
You will then go on to manage the programme team to deliver the programme plan, track benefits, manage risks/issues and report status, ensuring ongoing alignment to GSC&S Digital Strategy and projects throughout.
To enable your delivery, you will work closely:
With GSC&S Portfolio and Delivery Leads to understand which existing projects are on the critical path, identify any gaps and dependencies.
With IT to develop the requirements for the underpinning technology platform, understand how it fits into the current systems landscape and to mobilize a cross-functional team across IT and the business to deliver that platform.
With key stakeholders from other functions who also have existing projects on the critical path to handshake how they will align and report.
With Global Operations and senior stakeholders to align on governance and strategy.
