Here's a list of expectations for the role of  Splicer:

• Proficient in bucket truck work
• Perform splicing of fiber optic cables both fusion and mass fusion 
• Knowledge of different fiber count and types of optic cables 
• Distinguish color of fiber optic cable (Yellow, Black, Red, etc.)
• Use of tablets for mapping software
• Know FFTH, OTDR testing and splicing
• Assembles and disassembles splicing cases and trays 
• Operates and maintains company vehicle, tools, test equipment and other company owned equipment
• Experienced in handling fiber optic cable
• Ability to work long hours standing and sitting 
• Be able to interpret prints and splice matrix 

Here’s a list of requirements for the role of Splicer :

• Valid/clean driver’s license
• 1-3 Years of fiber optic installation and splicing 

Here’s a look at your expected work environment:

• Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
• Lifting and carrying objects up to 65 pounds
• Working at heights up to 30ft
• Working in all weather conditions
