Our practice is currently seeking a full-time Endoscopy Clinical Supervisor to join our team!

Job Title: Endoscopy Clinical Supervisor

Department: Endoscopy Center

Immediate Supervisor Title: Endoscopy Center Manager

General Summary: The role is the clinical supervisor for the Endoscopy Center. This position oversees the daily clinical operations of the clinical team and patient care areas in the Endoscopy Center for various endoscopic procedures, as well as performing and assisting in procedures, recovery, and discharge education. The person in this position applies the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating plans of care for assigned patients. They are responsible for following established standards of professional nursing practice as delineated by the Endoscopy Center, following standards and regulations of AAAHC and DOH.

Education/Certifications:

• Current Pennsylvania state RN license (required)
• ACLS certificate (required)

Experience:

• Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience in the health field (required)
• Experience in GI diagnostic procedures (preferred)
• Minimum of one year of endoscopy, critical care or PACU experience, ACLS and BLS certification .

Equipment Operated:

• Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, calculators, etc. Standard center equipment including, procedure room, reprocessing room and pre/post area.

Work Environment:

Ambulatory surgery clinical setting. Direct patient contact. Clinical outpatient setting, well-lighted, good air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Direct contact with patients.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

Possesses good physical health, capable of working in a demanding environment. Medium duty. 50 pounds, maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 25 lbs. Requires standing for long periods while sitting for others. Repetitive hand/arm movements. Required to wear appropriate PPE. Assisting patients on and off procedure tables.
