Boulder, CO | United States
Job description
Who We Are
Crestone Capital LLC is an independent multi-family office with more than 30 years of experience that delivers wealth management services to an exclusive network of entrepreneurs, business owners and their families. The team at Crestone Capital delivers a suite of fully integrated investment management and wealth advisory services to families looking to protect and enhance their wealth and define their legacy. With approximately $3 billion of assets under management, the team combines institutional knowledge with a personalized, boutique approach to serve clients as fiduciaries, putting their needs and interests first. Crestone is 100% employee-owned, with more than 50 employees with offices in Boulder, Denver, Austin, and Los Angeles.
What the Job Is
Crestone seeks candidates who will assist the Client Advisory Team with day-to-day projects related to the delivery of Crestone's integrated wealth management services. The position requires a minimum of 16-20 hours per week during the school year and full-time during the summer. Hours will be scheduled following the core business hours of Monday through Friday between 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Candidates who are able to commit to consecutive engagements will be given priority consideration. After the intern graduates, the hiring team will evaluate each candidate to determine if a permanent position would be a logical next step, provided such position exists.
Interns receive new associate orientation, on‐the‐job training, periodic evaluations, and an exit interview at the end of the internship. Interns will support and be supervised by respective members of the Client Advisory Team, Investment Research team, and the Business Operations team. Interns must be detail‐oriented and will be responsible for researching, producing, and analyzing Excel spreadsheets, reports, and other special projects relating primarily to alternative investments (hedge funds, private equity, real estate, commodities, and distressed debt), as well as traditional investments (stocks and bonds).
Further, because Crestone believes in providing a well-rounded internship experience, all interns complete service hours as good stewards of our local community. Interns identify and support the organization of their choice, which, we believe, helps our future leaders become well-rounded, positive contributors.
