Job description
A successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience with the Python language. This position will be focused on supporting Reverse Engineering efforts on mobile platforms and automating the Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) of data into various platforms.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of experience with developing python applications and maintaining existing python scripts and applications.
- Experience with supporting SW development projects involving multiple developers, including working with language family IDEs and generating code documentation
- Experience with git-based code repositories such as Gitlab, GitHub and Atlassian tools.
- Ability to think out of the box and create novel solutions to challenging problems.
- Possession of exceptional interpersonal skills, including ability to: work alongside others, teach co-workers and clients/customers, and learn new technical trades and become a resident expert within a team
- Previous experience working in an agile development environment with short duration tasking
- BA or BS degree or three years of related experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with database query languages and database design
- Familiarity in using issue tracking software (i.e. JIRA) as part of a team
- Knowledge of Git or equivalent version control systems
- Ability to work on multiple OS platforms, including Linux, Mac, Windows, Android, and iOS
- Possession of excellent analytical and technical writing skills
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with iOS and Android mobile development languages, including Java, Objective-C, or Swift
- Familiarity with Python packages and modules that follow Python and industry-standard design patterns.
- Familiarity with different layers of the technology stack, including network, application frameworks, database systems, and vendor solutions.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies as part of a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery workflow
