Job Description:

As a Whatnot Shipper, you will be an essential part of the logistics team, ensuring that every package from our live shows and sales is shipped with precision and care. Your role is vital in maintaining our promise of efficiency and reliability to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficient Shipping: Manage and execute shipping operations at a fast pace without compromising on the safety and accuracy of packages.
• Quality Assurance: Adhere to packaging protocols to maintain consistency and quality in all shipments.
• Issue Resolution: Collaborate with the Shipping Manager/Lead to address any discrepancies or concerns without resorting to guesswork.
• Record Keeping: Accurately utilize the shipping log for each show and package processed.
• Order Verification: Ensure that each order is thoroughly checked before packaging, confirming the presence and correctness of items.
• Inventory Management: Monitor supply levels and restock shipping materials as necessary.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and orderly shipping area, abiding by all established workplace standards.
• Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies, including those regarding food and drink, phone use, and clocking out for breaks.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to work on one's feet for extended periods, reflecting the job's physical demands in performance reviews.
• Experience in a shipping or logistics role, preferably within a retail or e-commerce environment.
• Proficient in basic math and record-keeping, essential for managing inventory and processing transactions.
• Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with team members and management.
