Location : Philippines, Remote, M-F, 9AM-5PM, Central Time
Restriction : This opportunity is for candidates residing in the Philippines
Compensation : Php 35,000.00 to Php 55,000.00 Monthly
The PR and Content Division of Intero Digital is looking for a Media Relations Assistant. The ideal candidate is expected to evaluate situations through the lenses of the company’s core values including situations that cannot be addressed in this list. Time allocation is indicative and subject to change based on organizational needs and project priorities. Flexibility and collaboration across departments are essential.

The media relations department is fully focused on media relations (building relationships with journalists, editors, publishers, etc.) and is the distribution arm of the PR and Content Division of Intero Digital for all earned media including (but not limited to) guest contributed articles and PR pitch campaigns.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Management Support (45%)
Assist in managing guest contributed content queues, ensuring drafts are ready for review and facilitating timely approvals.
Research and suggest publications matching provided topics, and assist in building media lists in MuckRack aligned with PR campaign themes.
Support pitching efforts to editors and journalists by preparing pitch materials and tracking submission statuses.
Help maintain up-to-date profiles for publications and assist in tracking submissions.
Pre-review topics and articles for initial quality checks and alignment with publication standards.
Relationship Building and Maintenance Support (30%)
Help coordinate communications with publication editors, journalists, and other key contacts to foster strong relationships.
Assist in addressing content errors and client edit requests on published content promptly.
Support efforts to build professional connections, researching new publications for potential collaboration.
Aid in outreach to new publications that align with client goals.
Client Strategy and Communication Support (15%)
Assist in compiling information to understand client goals, success metrics, and target audiences.
Support in developing materials and presentations to guide clients on improving their earned media strategy.
Help gather data on publication trends and performance for strategy meetings.
Internal Administration and Communication Support (10%)
Assist in organizing and preparing for team meetings, including documentation and follow-up actions.
Help manage email, Slack, and other communication tools to ensure organized and efficient communications.
Support interdepartmental coordination and assist colleagues in their tasks as needed.
Participate in completing tasks related to division-wide objectives or specific departmental goals when requested.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, marketing, communications, information science, or a related degree is preferred.
At least 2–3 years of agency or in-house media relations experience are strongly preferred.
Must have experience with MuckRack.
Must have experience with Monday.com.
