Our technology suite includes an AI-based software platform with near-real-time remote monitoring of water bodies to enable intelligent, precision-based treatments using our patented nature-based products.
Responsibilities:
The Scientific Project Manager role will report to the Scientific Director, United States Region as part of the commercial industry management team
- Responsible for leading scientific technical support within BlueGreen's client-facing strategy within the America’s market to roll out a multi-year roadmap for the expansion of our market footprint within the country
- Collaborate on project planning and project administration and assume responsibility for the administrative duties relating to the activities undertaken
- Prepare drafts and final reports of research projects for publication
- Participate in an active communications and engagement strategy
- Design and contribute to research studies, such as efficacy, proof-of-concept, and other priority areas
- Collaborate with other investigators in developing and executing interdisciplinary research
- Provide consultation to clients, academia, NGOs, local and state governments
- Develop long standing, resilient client relationships which lead to a win-win scenario for both them and BlueGreen
- Attend client meetings, conferences and lobby stakeholders as required to get the job done
- Contribute to the development of the strategic business development plan identifying key clients, stakeholders, and markets and execute
- Lead or support the preparation of extramural grant applications and contracts
- Analyze and interpret complex data for reporting, presentations, and publications
- Contribute to high level discussions with funding agencies and research teams within organization and with collaborating organizations

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in aquatic biology, environmental toxicology, ecology, or chemistry
- Previous experience as a project lead
- Computational proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; additional statistical skills a plus
- Previous data analysis and publication experience
- Have worked in a multi-cultural environment
- Can work independently and have courage to make qualified independent decisions
- Solution-oriented and proactive
- Collaborative, both within immediate team and the wider business
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel to where the client is - primarily US up to 50%
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
