Roles and Responsibilities:
The Marketing Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our marketing department. This position is designed for a highly organized and efficient professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator will support a wide range of marketing operations, including project management, reporting, marketing tickets and overall team support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wellness, strong project management skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams to help drive our marketing efforts forward. This is a hybrid role based out of our Austin, TX headquarters office.
- Asana Support for the Marketing Team: Serve as the primary point of contact for Asana, managing project timelines, assignments, and updates to ensure all marketing initiatives are on track. Act as the go-to person for the marketing team for all things related to project management tools.
- Handle Marketing Requests: Efficiently manage incoming marketing requests, assess their priority, and allocate them to the appropriate team members.
- Marketing Tickets: Oversee the marketing request ticketing system, prioritizing and assigning tasks to the appropriate team members, ensuring timely and efficient completion of marketing deliverables.
- Website Edits: Collaborate with the digital team to implement necessary website updates and edits, ensuring the site reflects current marketing campaigns, accurate product information, and optimal user experience.
- Competitor Research and Tracking: Conduct thorough competitor research and maintain up-to-date tracking documents, providing insights and analysis to support strategic marketing decisions.
- Creative Audits: Regularly QA marketing materials for consistency and accuracy (attention to detail is imperative). Help manage key dates and creative deadlines, and provide actionable feedback to enhance creative output.
- Digital Asset Management: Take charge of organizing and maintaining our marketing department's digital assets across various platforms, including Confluence for project documentation, Google Drive for file storage and collaboration, and Canva for design elements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing operations, project management, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in project management software, specifically Asana. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is a significant plus, as these tools may be used for project tracking and documentation management.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Google AdWords and Meta Business Platform.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Willing to lean in, collaborate effectively and identify top priorities at a fast moving startup
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and practices is a plus.
