Residential Shift Supervisor
$22.25-$25/hour
- Schedule:
- 4 10-hour shifts/week-
- Rotating monthly 12-hour Saturday shift
- $3-$6 shift differential for short notice or night shift coverage
- Opportunity for $0.50 and $1.00 raises at 6 and 12 months respectively

Embark Behavioral Health Bend is looking for reliable, experienced and empathetic Residential Shift Supervisors This is a great position for those with supervisory experience and interest or experience in mental health, psychology, social & human services, experience with inpatient healthcare facilities, direct support professionals, and those transitioning out of wilderness therapy positions.
Residential Shift Supervisors ensure consistency and safety through adherence to the program's daily schedule, student expectations, and policies. Shift Supervisors lead a team of 2-3 Residential Mentors to ensure all students are highly supervised, cared for, supervised and all student needs are met. Our staff support youth and their families as they move toward a healthier state of being, with work on communication, emotional regulation, life and social skills through extracurricular activities, work with animals and academic progress.

Our facility in Bend, Oregon offers perfect for preteens struggling with behavioral health. Serving all genders ages 10-14. Our clients reside in our comfortable family-style residence, where community and interpersonal relationships are fostered and encouraged.
What does life look like at Embark Bend?
- Act as lead staff on shift- ensure shifts run smoothly, accomplish all necessary tasks, ensure documentation is completed, support training and onboarding of new mentors
- Participate in weeklong on call rotation to support residential staffing needs
- Maintain awareness of client whereabouts, safety, and emotional well-being through consistent checks and documentation
- Support program schedule and structure by holding consistent boundaries
- Clearly communicate and document all necessary information from shift to support entire team
- Provide academic support to students while they complete online schooling requirements.
- Support kitchen by heating/serving meals on occasion
- Participate in extracurricular activities with youth such as arts, crafts, sports, outdoor activities, etc.
- Aid in residential maintenance or administrative tasks, as necessary.
- Act as campus contact person by answering phones
- 21+ years of age or older
- Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Current driver's license & clean driving record
- High school degree or equivalent
- Maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Ability to effectively communicate, build healthy relationships and teach positive values
- Skill in de-escalating students when emotionally or behaviorally dysregulated
- Ability to plan, implement, and adjust to plans accordingly
- Timeliness, organization, and reliability
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years of experience working in a residential setting, wilderness therapy or in a direct care position with youth
- 1 year experience in a supervisory role
