Human Resources Associate - Arrow Security NYC Region

Position Summary

As a spirited contributor to our respectful and rewarding work culture, the HR Associate supports our Corporate/Regional HR and Operations' teams in hiring and processing new employees for our bustling Manhattan-based regional office. In creating and managing employee profiles in our HRIS system, providing new hires with welcome packets and assisting in various administrative HR functions, the HR Associate aims to nurture a positive orientation for new hires to our Arrow NYC security team, bringing an attention to detail and conscientiousness to each task to promote an enriching work-life culture.

Performing in cross-departmental design, the HR Associate aligns with fellow staff to foster best practices that are compliant with federal/state regulations and respectful of our company policies and protocols, committing to the integrity of our Arrow mission to provide an exceptional client and employee experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Completes hiring process in an expedited manner, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Creates new hire employee profile in company HRIS.
• Provide new hire with company orientation pamphlets and info sheets.
• Partners with Operational leaders to address transfers (to new roles) and ensure proper documentation and HRIS system is updated accordingly.
• May be responsible for reference and background checking for candidates

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of prior experience with a focus on high-volume hiring and/or onboarding
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Management desired
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
• Working knowledge of federal and state HR laws and regulations
• Core NYC Union knowledge
• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills combined with sound judgment
• Customer service focus for internal customers
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to partner with various departments to effectively meet goals
