Position: Senior Software Engineer (Job Code: 1339)
Duties: Responsible for providing product design planning and coordination support, focused on writing and testing code to deliver functionality for the complete product it supports; design complex and significant parts of a system/sub-system, as well as working on complete products of a broad scope to solve well-defined problems; provide technical guidance to other engineers and support personnel as needed; develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems for software functionality during product development phases; utilize and apply knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, React, GraphQL, GitHub, Rally, IntelliJ, AWS, EC2 Jenkins, Postman and Veracode to perform assigned duties; evaluate and implement enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications; analyze assignments and determine software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives; execute necessary documentation to complete assignments; collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs; and follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation.
Location: Southfield, Michigan and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;
Salary: $135,200 per year;
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors Degree – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Training: None;
Experience: Four (4) years in the position above, as a Full Stack Engineer, as an IT Team Lead, as a Software Engineer, as an IT Assistant / Team Lead IT, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must include four (4) years use of all the following: Java, Spring Boot, React, GraphQL, GitHub, Rally, IntelliJ, AWS, EC2 Jenkins, Postman and Veracode.
