Statement of Duties

The SomerPromise Youth and Family Resource Navigator supports equitable access to Somerville Hub Connect, a Single Point of Entry (SPE) platform for Somerville families and providers. This platform allows for “one stop shopping” for programs aimed at meeting the needs of children and families from cradle to career. The SomerPromise Youth and Family Resource Navigator is uniquely situated to serve as technical support for families that are utilizing the Somerville Hub Connect website as well as providing direct support to walk-ins and those not able to access the site electronically. The work will also include strengthening relationships with community partners and providing training to outside staff interested in utilizing the site as a resource and referral tool in their agencies.

The work is a key piece of Somerville’s commitment to collective impact, and will involve close collaboration with several stakeholders from the Schools, City and Community, including the Somerville Partnership for Young Children (SPYC) and the Somerville Family Learning Collaborative (SFLC). The position is housed with the SomerPromise Division of the City of Somerville’s Department of Health and Human Services.

Reports to: Wraparound Services Manager

Recommended Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Undergraduate degree in a related field (or 5 years related experience)
