We have a new opening for an experienced breast sonographer. York Hospital provides breast ultrasound services to patients at the main York Hospital campus and Wells campus.

Sonographers are responsible for performing breast ultrasound exams under the direction of a board certified radiologist. Sonographers are also responsible for safely operating equipment to produce diagnostic quality images.

Primary responsibilities:
-Performing ultrasound studies including whole breast ultrasound for dense tissue, diagnostic ultrasound, ultrasound-guided biopsies, wire localizations and fine needle aspirations procedures using sterile technique.
-Detailed documentation
-Excellent communication with radiologists to ensure quality exams
-Exceptional patient care

To continue to provide exceptional patient experiences, we require the following:
1+ yrs ultrasound experience (preferred)
ARDMS/ARRT registered
BLS certification
