Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Technician to join our team onsite in Palo Alto. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for processing and sorting a wide range of electronics and commodities to ensure smooth and efficient recycling process in the facility. You will learn an incredible amount about different electronics and commodities: how they work, how they're disassembled, and how well they retain their value.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and test various electronics, equipment, materials, and commodities.
- Operate software to wipe and sanitize data-bearing devices.
- Disassemble obsolete equipment to optimize for recycling and material recovery.
- Research different consumer and industrial products to assess market value for resale.
- Follows all safety rules for warehouse including wearing of PPE – steel toe shoes, safety vest, gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection at all times.
- Performs other related duties as assigned including facility clear outs, onsite pickups, equipment assembly, etc.
Qualifications:
- Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change.
- Ability to work with a variety of computer and software systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day.
- Strong knowledge of electronic products, including computers, smartphones, home appliances, and consumer electronics is a plus.
