Job description

The Hotel Salem is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our exciting team in the position of Events Coordinator. This person will collaborate directly with the Sales Manager and General Manager on the booking and execution of a wide variety of events including weddings, corporate groups, and retreats. The position is also responsible for booking and servicing hotel room blocks and group business. The perfect candidate will have a passion for selling and hospitality, as this position allows for an intimate connection with the client as you guide them from initial inquiry to booking to the day of services. The right candidate will make contributions to our brands social media messaging, and overall yearly sales plan. Responsibilities:

Qualifications: About Company: The Hotel Salem is a vibrant and one-of-a-kind accommodation on the North Shore of Boston. This 44-room boutique Salem hotel is in the middle of the action on the bustling Essex Street pedestrian mall in the city center. It is home to two restaurants including Salem's only seasonal rooftop bar as well as multiple event spaces.
