Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) - Technology Services in Life Sciences

Location: Remote (Northeast U.S. Location Preferred)

The Role:

We need a well-prepared leader to become our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and lead our marketing initiatives, with a sharp focus on accelerating pipeline growth and enhancing lead generation. This role will report directly to the CEO and his Chief of Staff but will interface heavily with our key practice area leaders, specialists in their respective service areas. If you have between 5 to 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, and have worked with managed service organizations targeting c-suite decision makers like chief commercial, technology, and information officers, and/or accountable leaders in data, marketing, or sales operations we could be perfect for each other. Come prepared to show us you understand the commercial ecosystem life science organizations must possess to successfully develop, market, and sell prescription therapeutics.

Qualifications:

A degreed individual (MBA preferred) with a strong command of life science commercial technologies such as Veeva Systems, Salesforce.com, Power BI, Tableau, and cloud platforms (Microsoft Asure, AWS, and snowflake. Who can thrive while working remotely with a globally diversified remote workforce. In addition, a clear command of data management as a service and a demonstrable working knowledge of the technologies that shape research, development, and clinical operations. Everything must be driven by expert knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, SEM, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.

Success will require strong leadership skills with the ability to build, inspire, and drive a team towards excellence. Superlative communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are a must.

Being based in the Northeast U.S. for strategic client proximity and industry event participation is a major plus.
