We're currently seeking a skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, located at 280 Vanderbilt Beach Rd in the stunning city of Naples, Florida, a place where life is lived to the fullest. As our Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in promoting the Marriott brand both internally and externally, using sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty. You'll identify opportunities to up-sell and sell enhancements to create an exceptional Marriott experience or event, encouraging guests to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours. You'll explain the details and requirements related to attending a sales presentation to potential owners, and verify that individuals meet eligibility requirements for preview package sales/tours prior to scheduling a tour for a Marriott vacation club property. Additionally, you'll determine and give complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage, such as rewards points or show tickets, and answer their questions about property facilities and services. You'll also receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly. To excel in this role, you'll need to follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and protect company assets while maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information. You'll welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. You'll also communicate with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees are also critical.
